NEIGHBOR CARE CENTER

HOSPITALITY CENTER HISTORY

For years, Micah’s location at 1013 Princess Anne Street has been known as a place our neighbors could visit to get help.

It’s been a place of meals, showers, mail, and mercy. But for some neighbors—those who have been homeless for a long time—it’s become something even deeper: a community.

Community matters.

So while our building remains, what happens inside has evolved. We’ve shifted our focus toward deeper, more intentional care—working one-on-one with those who are most entangled in the cycle of homelessness.

Hence, what was formerly known as our Hospitality Center has become our Neighbor Care Center.

how the neighbor care center works

The Neighbor Care Center does not have open walk-in hours for anyone in need in the community. Instead, we invite in the most vulnerable members of our community for dedicated support, from basic needs to case management.

MAKING CONNECTIONS

With our transition from Hospitality Center to Neighbor Care Center, we have added in some volunteer roles. Our volunteers are crucial to extending hospiality services outside of 1013 Princess Anne Street, and building connections and relationships with our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

As we expand our volunteer roles in tandem with this transition, we welcome your help!
